What is the difference between Bounce rate & Exit rate?
What is the difference between Bounce rate & Exit rate?
Bounce rate is depend on the visitors activity and exit rate depend on visitors back time to the website.
For all page views to the page, Exit Rate is the percentage that was the last in the session. For all sessions that start with the page, Bounce Rate is the percentage that was the only one of the session. Bounce Rate for a page is based only on sessions that start with that page.
Bounce rate of any website is the percentage of users those leave your website's landing page without giving any interest to your website, only landing page of your website has its bounce rate while every page of your website has its exit rate so number of users who leave that page without giving any interest is the exit rate of that page.
