A deep link is a hypertext link to a page on a Web site other than its home page. The "deep" refers to the depth of the page in a site's hierarchical structure of pages. Any page below the top page in the hierarchy (the home page) can thus be considered deep.

In the context of the World Wide Web, deep linking is the use of a hyperlink that links to a specific, generally searchable or indexed, piece of web content on a website (e.g., "http://example.com/path/page"), rather than the website's home page (e.g., "http://example.com/").

Deep linking is a tool used by websites to point a visitor directly to a page within the website instead of the landing page or front page of the site.
3 reasons why you should deep link.
  • Raise the authority of the entire site
  • Increase your site’s overall relevancy
  • Increase your site’s overall visibility

A deep link is a hypertext link to a page on a Web webpage other than its landing page. The "profound" alludes to the profundity of the page in a site's various levelled structure of pages. Any page underneath the top page in the progressive system (the landing page) can in this way be viewed as profound.

Deep linking refers to the link building process where the internal or product page is directly linked to the external domain. This helps to redirect traffic directly to the business or product page and generate more leads for your business.
