Use website speed test tool like, http://tools.pingdom.com
So you will be able to know what pages or elements of your site makes the loading of pages/site slow.

Blogger comes with free hosting from Google. So there's no chance to try any kind of 3rd party hosting.

The speed at which your blog loads is critical to attracting more readers to time can be affected by the number of posts you display on your main page.

Website speed can be increased by various methods. You can minimize the widgets and banner ads on your homepage to reduce the loading time for your website.

I would recommend using the speed suggestions functionality from Google Analytics as it analyses individual pages from your blog and provides suggestions on things you can do for both the web and mobile layout.

Some of the things that helped me reduce the loading speed is to compress images e.g. tinypng is one website that offers the ability to compress your images without significantly affecting the quality (those not hosted in blogspot's own servers) and removing widgets that don't provide much value (I had to remove my Instagram widget at the bottom of my page as it was slowing down the load speed).
